Aye the Venetians took it in the Fourth Crusade. Constantinople/Istanbul has always been in a difficult position to Siege. At after it fell to the Ottomans in 1453 it has never been under attack again. In 1915 the Allied tried but they never get pass Gallipoli. So its truly a city impossible to siege unless you bring big guns.

Still looking forward for this great creation i have already planned a bunch of historical Roman battles & sieges with it lol.

Not just that, the Venetian crusaders in 1204, took Constantinople with 20-25,000 men while the city was defended by some 15,000 men whereas in the Ottoman siege of 1543, the city was only defended by 7,000 men and was besieged by a staggering 200,000 men, with those massive guns. There was more of a challenge for the besiegers in the Venetian siege i think.

Sorry for necroing but is this mod still developing? I am making a mod my self and I plan on making Constantinople's walls but if someone else have done it already id use his version rather than spending huge amount of time making my version.
