Ok mate, the mod is epic but i have problems installing it, and i require your help...
First of all i downloaded the 1.6 installer and it didnt detect my game, (I installed the game on an external hard drive), then i downloaded the 1.6 zipped data, and i dont know what to do with it.
I tried to activate the MS-DOS and nothing happens, thus i also unzipped it in the total war folder. (Excuse me for my stupidity).
Thanks for your support and this amazing mod .
Edit: i just made it work and in the last minute the game exits all the time, it crashes for some reason , i also added the line there (disable chache...)

The current installer is problematic with non-standard locations for the main game; we hope to have a more versatile one soon (if not the next patch then certainly the following one).
To use the data folder method you can either:
a) create a new installer of your own with a program you know will work for you.
b) replace the data folder of an existing mod so you can run it trough there. It must be a mod that makes use of a CFG file--in other words the basic kingdoms campaigns won't do. The CFG is in the main mod folder with the bat launcher and the data folder.
EDIT: If you are a Steam user you should also check the relevant links in the first post of this thread.
Lol, i suck with computers so im really sorry for all of this.
I have the third age total war, should i replace the data folder from the third age with RB ?
It's no trouble at all, we're always happy to help.
That should work; just rename the existing data folder to "Xdata" or something and move the RB data folder in there.
This way whenever you want to play one or the other you simply rename the one not being used and change the one you want back to just "data."
Ok, i did it, now it works just fine ...
Thanks alot !!!
If I can get this running on my laptop I'll give this a go.
been away from modding for quite a while - this might tempt me back into it - but no promises.
let me know if you want any historical info and i'll see what i can dig up (jk)
(looking good so far, got m2tw and kingdoms working on the laptop - played a few turns of brittania campaign. now need to update to 1.5. and then i'll DL mod.)
It's always good to see your posts Roz, it has been a while. I'm glad you decided to check out RB.

took over 2 hours to grab 300MB.
anyways thanks for kind words - I'll set about installing the beast this afternoon
Just downloaded the mod a couple hours ago. You guys are doing some absoultely fantastic work. I love it.
Question: The plug novel? It isn't bad, it's actually quite good from what I've read so far. I'm just curious as to why it's there. Is the autor on your development team?
Either way, keep up the great work. It's an awesome mod.
The author is the Mod Leader AJStoner. I have read a bit of it myself and it is quite good. Glad you like the mod. We are continue to strive to make it better with each release.
New battle banners and Royal Banner for the Barons in the 1.7 release.
I don't think AJS included that in the first post.
