Tired of other mods hammer and anvil tactics ? Too many cavalrymen to your taste ?
How about a straightforwarding old phalanx style clash?

Im using RS2 environments and the animations by Morpheanikos, just removed the shieldwall, makes the phalanx too small for my taste.

does the hoplites still use the maccedonia phalanx here or do they use the real spear over the shoulder phalanx?

The hoplites use the overhand animation.

A few pictures i want to share.
First after making an alliance with Argos i acidentaly triggered the Pellopenesian War when i moved an Athenian army to the besieged city of Argos.
My ally salied wich led to this very "historical" situation.

Next a few phalanx versus phalanx battles. I am using my own EDU wich i will post shortly to achieve longer battles, signifier animations, RS2 environments and the descr_formations from EB to achieve that long line with no gaps.

If i remember correctly what i did, HCS does not have its own descr_formations file, so it uses the same file in the RTW/BI/DATA folder. I copied that same file from my EB and pasted it on HCS/DATA. I think it was all i did but if it does not work then that file needs also to be edited.
