    In 505 BC, after a successful campaign in Beotia, my Delian League is starting to take shape. North i have the Locrians and west i have Corinth. As i wish not to atack those factions i move with my Army on the island of Aegina.
    Im engaged as soon as i land ...

    I form my army in a phalanx formation with some reserves in the center, archers on the rear, and some Agrianes and Hepibatai on the flanks. My skirmisher cavalry is held back. We now wait for the Aegina Phalanx.

    The oposing Phalanxs clash with violence and after some bitter fighting the Aeginean manage to rout my center units, to wich i respond with my reserve units. Now the Aeginean army routs and leaves the field chased by my cavalry units. Aegina is mine but the Aegineans fought a fierce battle.

    I use a Spartan right flank envelopment tactic, or a refused left extra wide right- hammer tactic

    Two Pics of my Campaign with Athens.
    After beating Argos and Corinth, Sparta went for Megara wich was already in my league.
    Now the Pelopoenisian War has began.

    Having hard time with Macedonians




    On the south I´m in a endless war against Thessalia. At the west, the perfidious Epirus, who have several times tried to conquer the strategic city of Argos Orestikon ( I can recruit some quality hoplites there), is suspiciously quiet. Wonder what is he planing.. At the east, the feared almighty Peersians..

    You can see the shieldwall and some hoplites using their sidearm. So far the drawbacks are charging with sword and some strange behaviours from units sometimes but formations look thighter and cleaner. Hope you enjoy.

    First post. I have a couple interesting pictures i thought you guys might like.





    By the way i love this mod, i have played numerous other RTW mods but i didn't feel the need to make an account and participate in discussion on the forums, but this mod changed that.
