Is curent version compatible with upcoming patch?

Just heard that the CA is releasing a new patch in September. When this patch is automatically downloaded is the current version (0.75) of Trom 3 still going to be playable?

Just started a new campaign and don't want to continue if everything is going to be unavailable a month from now.

I imagine you would be done with that campaign before the patch comes out. I always turtle and I could finish two or three games in that time. LoL my campaigns usually take a week or more to play out.
