So... a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
when I was kid (I think it was between ~1985 and 1990), I remember my parents bringing some animated cartoons on VHS. I know "He-Man", "GI-Joe" were among them, but......
... there was certain cartoon (not necessarily to rule them all, but..) I cannot freaking remember and it causes me a great deal of pain just because if this.
As I watched it on monchromatic TV I cannot provide colour palette (maybe even there wasn't any), but movie seemed rather old and cartoon definitely wasn't detailed like they are these days.
What I remember, I think there were two rivaling factions of some kind of robotic/mechanic animals (no, not Beast Wars), maybe there was even just one group of them, I remember them travelling in group and...
... one particular character stuck in my mind: it was some kind of snake but with a pair of wheels:

I apprieciate your help my friend, but "Jayce" looks waaay too 'new' and polished. "My" cartoon seemed more primitive (and I don't think there were any people in there). I think I called that cartoon "transformers" (as I heard that name and my kid's imagination seemingly wanted to see real Transformers at that time but never really saw it on VHS, so this movie may have been my transformers-wannabe, dunno)
