I've been seeing the first one for a loooooong time! If they can ever get it approved, that stadium would be a great place to see a game.

Too bad it has to be in the middle of the big dumb city, they wont have it any other way.

Why has the State/City been unwilling to relocate the proposed new stadium despite the NFL stating that it would be in both parties best interest? I've read up on it somewhat, but I've never seen Minnesota list the reasons why a move from the current locations isn't what they want.

Edit 04/06: Well, Chris Crocker is gone. Had some good years with the Bungles. He'll be picked up soon I wager. Any team looking for a good locker room presence with a year or two left in the tank will grab him. This changes the draft for the Bengals completely as they have no one on the roster worthy of being the starting strong safety. This may change the first round for them and I already had it planned out who they needed to draft dammit!

Panthers get two primetime games. Only one of which I will be able to watch, because stupid Time Warner Cable doesn't have the NFL Network.

And yes, can't wait for the draft. I'm thinking Panthers trade down just far enough to either snag Kuechly, Cox, or Gilmore and pick up an extra 2nd. Then hope to GOD that Alshon Jeffrey falls big to the 40th pick, where we can snag him. Hell, I'd be stoked if Janoris Jenkins fell that far.

Or, in a perfect world, Morris Claiborne falls to the 9th pick. That would be amazing. Either way, I see this draft going really well, unless Marty Hurney does something completely idiotic.

If you consider hanging out with my Dad a draft party, then yes. We both enjoy the draft and enjoy talking about the different players while the rest of our family makes fun of us.

I'm targeting a interior lineman with the Bengals first pick at 17. I'm thinking Decastro will be gone so I'm hoping for Peter Knoz or Cordy Glenn to be around at that pick. With their second first round pick at 21, I'm hoping either Dre Kirkpatrick and/or Janoris Jenkins are still alive. Would be a great start to the draft for the Bungles if it could fall this way.

2012 schedules released today. I'm happy with the first half of the season for the Bengals. Two tough division games with the other six being fairly easy, or in other words, games that they should win. The second half of the season is somewhat more difficult, and apparently CBS sports agrees and wrote an article on it for some reason? New found respect for the Bengals? I usually expect to see articles like this for the Cowboys, but the Bungles? I guess I'll take it.

Unless something has changed, I believe the NFL allows the Thursday night games on normal broadcast channels when the two teams playing are local teams, taking into account that everyone doesn't have the NFL network. As a fellow TWC subscriber, I know your pain.

Really? I've never heard of that before. What channel do you watch your Thursday night games on?

Edit: found this on the Thursday Night Football wiki. Guess it's true
Due to anti-trust regulations the NFL is contractually obligated to offer the broadcast to a local over-the-air station. Therefore the away team and (assuming a sellout) the home team markets will see the game regardless of cable availability of the channel

Bills get a REAL nice schedule. First few games are really winnable and should help us get off to another good start. Brutal middle with the Pats twice, the 9ers, Huston and the Titans. But then a cake walk to end the season, starting with our first primetime game in 3 years against the Phins on Thursday. Adding Super Mario and Anderson help our biggest needs. And I see about 9-10 wins there.

I'm hoping that the Bills take Glenn at #10 to shore up our LT spot since he can sit behind Hairston for a year. Since we need a playmaker on the outside I would be good with Floyd at #10 as well. Hopefully if we go BPA at #10 that Sanu will be there in the 2nd, big fan of his and think he'll be a superstar at the 2 spot for years. But we need a true LT, not a RT that we hope can play the position. Levitre can't play the outside so im hopeful we pick up a tackle in the first 2 rounds, since its not deep at all this class.

And I have been very impressed with how the Bungles have been building a team. Been a long time since I have been able to say that. (Bungles are my 2nd team)

And yes, if you're close enough then the NFL flexes out the game to the local channels, so even if you are stuck with TWC (like me ) then you can just catch em there. Or try to find an online broadcast.

Was looking for that myself therussian. I couldn't find it. When Goodell testified before Congress a few years back, I remembered him arguing that that provision was in place while discussing the NFL network with some of our esteemed members of Congress.

Denver has a shot to be really good this year if Manning develops a rapport with Decker. That defense finally figured itself out, and Manning is, well, Manning.

Been reading some draft profiles and its weird to read Russell Wilson's. Every single one says that hes an awesome QB with a strong arm is mobile and accurate and is smart. Sounds like 1st round? Then the only detractors is height. I thought Drew Brees put the QB height myth to rest?

NFL.com makes him sound like andrew luck or rg3 quality.
Wilson is an accurate passer. He is a very mechanical quarterback who not only is consistent in his drop step, but also understands how to move within the pocket and evade when the pocket collapses. He is an athlete and can torque his body to make any sort of throw on the run, and is accurate in this setting. He is a born signal-caller who shows command of the offense. He has the arm strength to make the deep throws and the touch to put it on a receiver in stride. He is effective when scrambling and extending plays
Drew Brees was measured as 5'11" at first at the combine until they did a redo for him after he demanded it.

Russel Wilson also threw behind the tallest O-Line in college.... larger than many NFL lines. So stupid, whoever gets this person gets a steal. I watch a lot of Big 10 and think hes great.
    I am far more reasonable.

    My computer stopped working

Lack of discussion and instead simple attacks shows that you have been proven wrong.

I'm an NC State grad so I watched Wilson in every game for his first 3 years, many times in person, and followed him closely this year also. I also think he will be a steal. He's not quite as fast as RG3, doesn't have quite the arm, but he's at least as accurate and a great decision maker.

You will probably only see it if you get the Charlotte stations though, their definition of local is pretty much only the city itself. I get stations from Greensboro and Winston and I'm going to have to watch it in a bar or something.

I have said it 1000 times, if Russel Wilson was 6'3'' he would be a first round pick. He has all the talent in the world, a good head on his shoulders, and all the intangibles. Kid is going to be a MAJOR steal in the later rounds.

Also am I the only one who hates the new panthers logo, its absolutely hideous.

Actually, I thought it was one of the better ones as most didn't seem to change for the most part. Look at it this way, it doesn't look anything like the new Seahawks uni's, so it could always be worse for Panthers fans.

Anyone who thought the Vikings were getting Claiborne was dumb, it wasn't going to happen, it's too hard to get a great LT and god damn did we need one. The trade was also a great move.
