bow ashigaru not firing

Hi I installed Shogun 2 from scratch and then freshly installed darthmod 2.7, I started a new campaign and notice my bow ashigaru (neither are the enemies) are not firing in fact when I try to select an enemy to fire on I get a red X mouse pointer

is this a known bug, how can I solve it or do you need some more info?

Mine are just fine. Try starting a new game maybe.

i had the exact same problem. my archers wouldnt fire and i could only engage melee with them. i found that when i turned of the ashigaru boost mod they started to work fine and fire arrows normally.

Oh wait, now that i think of it in my pre 2.7 campaign if I had 3 bow units sometimes ONE of them would not fire.

Turning off Ashigaru Boost or Projectile Boost fixed it. Not sure which.
