I'm wondering what the global effects are of the Command, Management and Influence stats of the faction leader are. I've read somewhere that if it's 6 or more then you get a global bonus while being 5 or less you get no bonus or penalty. But I've also read in the readme that the global effects for Command are only for barbarian factions. So in my current Macedonian campaign that would not be the case.
So should I try to find a good manager instead of a good general or all-rounder to become faction leader?
Also, are these effects really global or does it 'just' effects the characters of family members?
I'm playing a very nice Macedonian (H/H) campaign at the moment while reading Robin Lane Fox's bio of Alexander. I'm hoping do it all over again. Sadly Alexander sits in Bactria while I have just 'united' Greece and need to fend off some Thracians before crossing into Asia Minor.
