I mean c'mon, wtf? Everytime I've ever agreed and stuck to it I've just been attacked when the turn ends anyway. There must be a reason the AI diplomats do this, anyone know it?

IIRC it has been happening since vanilla.
I think it's about what the advice say.

I think I prefer it when they ask for a peace treaty and then attack before the turn is over.
