Extra pop-growth for playing with huge unit size
Intro:
- the modified EDBs in the “Attached Files” section add extra population growth (+0.5% or +1.0%), to compensate the increased drain on the settlement’s population, when playing with 'huge' units, which depletesh the settlements population.
Why to use this mod?:
- As FATW: WoM is balanced to be played with medium (or large) unit size, huge units can cause the AI to deplete it’s settlement’s population. So if you want to play with huge units, this mod increases the overall population growth.
Effects:
- This submod adds a population growth bonus to the respective faction's government buildings to make up for using the huge unit size (= which reduces population when units are recruited).
Effects - These are the population growth bonuses for the individual factions:
- Reunited Kingdom > +0.5%
- Adunabar > +0.5%*
- Rohan > +0.5%
- Dunland > +1.0% (as it starts with few, mainly small settlements and is all-in-all a weak faction)
- Harad > none (as it start with many large settlements and is overall the strongest faction)
- Rhun > +0.5%
- Human Player > none (only when choosing a WoM custom campaign; option 2-7 in bat-launcher)
* in the Reunited Kingdom "challenge" version, i.e. [RK_challenge]-EDB, Adunabar gets +1.0% to make it a little more challenging for the RK
Note: These EDBs are all 100% save-game compatible - you can switch between these modified EDBs and the originals as often as you like during an ongoing campaign!
