Thought Bayern deserved that (and I don't want to be saying that too often)...for some reason Real just attempted to shut up shop after equalising.

Ribery was a dick though - spent most of the second half trying to get Real players sent off. On the other hand they were some crazy fouls committed by the likes of Ramos and Marcelo. Ronaldo was rubbish despite the assist.

Ronaldo and Özil were both very crappy. Ramos and Marcelo should both have been sent off, i expected worse of Pepe tbh. Ribéry, well… if he spent more time playing the ball instead o diving all the time he'd be a (n even) great(er) player.

I was unimpressed with both teams tbh. But I'm glad Bayern won.

although im happy bayern won, Robben should have been sent off. I guess he is practicing for the EC (considering the butchery holland showed at WC 2010)

EDIT: lol ,on another forum where im active, i posted the 2009 chelsea-barca vid after the brilliant performance of kuipers in barca-milan, showing that barca gets a lot of advantage. after the match of yesterday i get a PM about from someone who doesnt call himselfs a barca-fanboy, and says things like that happen in every match.

going through all the trouble and still remembering it a week later, how much of a fanboy whiner are you?

It was a yellow card for Robben at most, one usually gets a yellow card for dangerous play.
It wasn't like he tried to kick the other guy or anything, he went for the ball, but in a potentially harmful way ---> yellow card.

yeah but there was the action on ozil (i tihnk it was him) too, just pure frustration. should have been two yellows.

cnt say for 100% cause i watched the NOS news only, not a full summary. but judging from those images, he should have got two yellows

I think Lahm is one of the most underrated players for years. Hes ever I seen him playing constantly above par on offense and defense.

At least when it comes to hypes, like world team of the year, best player on that position and the stuff. All team managers always wanted him, from Ferguson to Guardiola.

Should be a good game. Watch Torres stun the world and score 5 goals.

    that Ashley first half performance
    that Ashley last-second save
that Drogba getting shot by a sniper every 5 seconds
that Lampard stealing the ball from godly Messi, making a beautiful lobbed pass to faster-than-Sonic Ramires
that Ramires falling right after making a side-ways pass to Drogba
    that Drogba finish
    that butthurt Messi face

now i'm ready for Barca to score like 4 or 5.

Barca getting upset by Drogba's antics is rather amusing. It is getting farcical though

Drogba's actually been really good in this game so far. Not just for the goal, but his hold up play. He shouldn't be faking an injury every 5 minutes, though.

so, both "allready champions" lost on the first leg of the semifinals. It would be hillarious if they lost the second leg too.

Wow, barca made so many bad passes in this game, not like them. Well done to Chelsea though but defensively that goal should not have happened and if it had been anyone else but Busquests that got that rebound in the last minute barca would have equalized. See you in the Camp Nou.

As much as it pains to admit, Chelsea deserved that win and put in a good performance.

It would be nice if Drogba stopped rolling around on the floor for more then 5 minutes though. I used to find his ridiculous antics funny, but now I just find him pathetic. In a Champions League home match as well...
