Should we start listing plugins/server side mods we think would go well?

Ah I was just testing this to make sure it was visible for everyone, glad to see someone beat me here.

Absolutely start listing stuff. Keep in mind that it wont be actually live for a while, and we really need to see what the coming Adventure Update includes.

I imagine a month or more before I open this to the general population, theres a lot of work to be done, and I have to actually build the true server and get it installed at the host. Right now its running on one of my machines.

The only thing I really care about seeing is some sort of chat plugin. HeroChat for bukkit is the best one for servers that need private channels or channels dedicated to certain groups. Its necessity depends on how the server functions, though. It's best for pvp/faction-oriented servers.
