    2. Egypt as depicted as a "Pharoahonic" People. They need to be greek
You mean Makedonians whom accepted some Egyptians customs, though having an Egyptian, Nubian, Persian and Greek, and some Celt Ethnic majority

Ditch the Britons and use that slot for another faction.

ok first, Britons will remain. They add another force in the northwest and they pose as a challenge. However they will not have Samarobriva so they will not expand as quickly.. Second the senate/government settings for Carthage/Greeks will not be implemented.. I love the idea however and will use it if i make future mods.. finally, i do not want to use XGM or XC. Even though they are similar to vanilla they are not vanilla.

Remember everyone this game is VANILLA RTW, it just fixes historical inaccuracies. I like vanilla (alot) but i just wanna fix some stuff, this by no means is an overhaul. Same map, same skins. The new things are added cities, new units, and two new factions the Illyrians, and The Nabataean Kingdom.

Will post Historical Cities Part Three by the end of the night. maybe fourth part if i have time

thanks for keeping up I know this will take some time but it will be worth it

    Historical Cities Part 3
    Key
    * Will be owned by rebels
If In Red, means settlement was not around in 280 B.C.
(City Name) Will be name of city in game
    Historical Notes In Italics

    Cities
    Palma Roman Camp 123 B.C.
Tingi - Carthage Roman Capture 1st Century B.C.
    Cirta - Numidians Roman Capture 46 B.C.
Dimmidi - Numidians Roman Capture during Septimius Severus' reign
    Nepte - Numidians Roman Capture???
    Carthage - Carthage Roman Capture/Destruction 146 B.C. (was rebuilt)
    Thapsus - Carthage Roman Capture 146 B.C.
Leptis Magna - Carthage Roman Capture 146 B.C.
Cyrene - Ptolemaic Empire Roman Capture 96 B.C.
Siwa - Ptolemaic Empire Roman Capture?? (was only an oasis)
Alexandria - Ptolemaic Empire Roman Capture 30 B.C.
Memphis - Ptolemaic Empire Roman Capture 30 B.C.
Thapsus - Ptolemaic Empire Roman Capture 30 B.C.

Note: I'm thinking about omitting Memphis/Thebes from the game as they both were in decline around the Ptolemaic Empire. I will research some more prominent cities of that time to replace them with. Also if anybody knows of a good replacement let me know

    4th update later

well, actually that's more or less the XGM premise, I suggest you try XGM first because they allready worked on it long time ago. (I don't suggest try XC because it was for maniacs (too much traitsystem and rather hard to grasp campaign mechanics, as well as faulty EDU, XGM is better for that aspect)

finishing this kind of mod will take half a year at the shortest, especially since you plan to do much changes (despite you name this vanilla), it's far better to make a submod of XGM (faction changes) instead of doing something that will cost you times and works, but coming out half-worked

XC instead, the better version with more units and codes then XGM

I know it will take awhile but I think it will be cool.. XGM looks fun and everything but I want to say that I made my own mod.. It's like a hobby and it's fun. Plus some people have already had some interest in it.. Besides XGM focuses on making the Greek nations more powerful with some other changes. This mod will be alot different and fun. And i'm willing to put in the time and work for it.. Besides I'm new to modding I wanted to start out on something like this and see where it takes me.

Im gonna post the units that I need re-skinned.. anybody that has skinning skills is welcome to pitch in. (i have tried and I made no progress haha) im more of just a coder/text editor. once these skins are finished and i can get some screen shots up i will try to release a beta version.. will post unit list in a minute

also im just about finished with all of the cities.. ive finished the greek cities and now im off to the eastern cities.. once i get those finished i will post the last city update.. also last night i was working hard in the descr_strat and everything was looking good.. then i made a mistake (and i hadnt saved) so i lost everything.. now after every update im saving and by sometime tomorrow the campaign map should be set up for the most part!

    Okay,
For Egypt, instead of Gold shield pikemen, how about just silver shield pikemen so they won't have any "edge" against the Seleucids.
    Greek Peltasts
    Greek Heavy Peltasts
    Greek Slingers
    Greek Archers
    Greek Cavalry

Those aren't gonna happen. Maybe Hellenic blank? because they didn't have actual Greeks fighting in their armes, just Greek style units ;D
And leave the desert cav and axemen.

    Thrace
Are you making them more of a barbarian faction? They didn't have Phalanx pikemen, but they did have a phalanx type unit so, keep the miltia hoplite, and add a good melee unit for them.

    Parthia
Parthia, BOOO! You're a historian? Parthian armies had 2 elements. Heavy cavalry for the charge, and light horse archers for the skirmish. nothing in between. I recommend trashing the cataphract horse archer ;D

    Macedon
    No militia cavalry. PERIOD

    Illyria
NO CHOSEN ANYTHING!!! Illyrians were pretty much pirates, so give them maybe 1 province in Illyria, and a few scattered islands. NO chosen archers, swordsmen, or noble cav.

    Nabatea
You honestly think the Nabateans had an impact in this period? Why not add Mauretania? Oh! How about anything other than them because they had literally NO IMPACT ON THIS TIME PERIOD! They were a tribe of desert people that the Romans enlisted as Auxilia to help fight the Parthia/Sassanids. Completely irrelevant. I suggest adding Syracuse or Nubians rather than this faction.

Have you tried contacted DimeBagHo at XGM? That mod has a ton of reskinned, revitalized, historically-based units which correspond rather closely to the unit lists above, which I suppose you might be able to use. Unless you really are going to go for the whole shebang and trying to do completely different versions...if so, disregard

EDIT: Also, the capital of Thrace was Seutopolis, not Tylis.
