i'v been wondering many times if modders would think of making a mod from the rise of Justinian I to the VII-VIII Centuries, & now its in development
Since Emperor Justinian I, General Belisarius & Emperor Heraclius are 3 of my fav Roman-Byzantines, i'm gonna have some great fun playing this mod

Not exactly true. There is Ages of Darkness II.

Did you guys coin that term yourself ( ive never seen it) , either way that is brilliant, Refering to the council of chalcedon (451 ad, am i right?) like that. To mod, a basic knowledge of history is needed, but for this period the sources are so much scarcer, and i think i will be amazing at how well it turns out. I always thought this period would be perfect to do a game on because of all the crucial events in so little time with little evidence in a time of turbelence leaves one with many questions. It's the perfect Total War, CA should of done over a new stw2 expansion, but I actually think the East of Rome modders can do a better job!

I think the symbol of Kingdom of kartli must be a wolf not a lion, iberians were called wolfpeople by the enemies such us persians.
