    Got no pics - sorry - but just fought my first proper battle, Northumbria vs. Viking raiders. Roughly 2000 a side, and one of the best battles i can remember fighting in any mod of this engine. I genuinely did not have any idea who would win until I managed to turn one flank of the Northmen's line, and then it was slaughter.

    You've done a brilliant job lads, brilliant.

    Lol, yeah. Fought some battle as Normans against rebels, had no idea who will win (well, I thought I'll lose). Pity it's only screen I have.
    Models are beautiful. It's one thing to see models on screenshots and completely different to see them in game.

    Wow, nice ... that's some epic scale battle. I just wish I had your pc ... my limit is something like 4k units, and if I go over 3k I get some serious issues.

    If i remember correctly, in the Last Kingdom folder you have got a CFG file, open it and find the line :
    show_banner = true

    change it to :
    show_banner = false

    A few more pics from my Wessex Campaign, a battle outside Eoferwic (York)
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    My army advances on the vikings waiting on a hill

    Viking archers scatter before the relentless advance

    A clash of arms in the centre

    Meanwhile, on the right flank, Saxons face Viking beserkers

    The centre is secured easily, the vikings are overrun

    Leaving a trail of death

    The Beserkers won't give up to easily

    It takes many more units, and a lot of dead Saxons to force them back

    A victory, but a bloodier one than I'm used to, the lack of shieldwall makes attacking a lot harder for Saxons

    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    The prosperous South of the Kingdom of Wessex

    The Viking-Plagued North, notice Leicester has been renamed to Norsebane, this is after a bloody battle that was fought there when 700 Saxons defended the town from 2500 vikings, only 20 Saxons survived, but the attack was repulsed. Also notice York (Eoferwic) was renamed Aldhelm, after my best general, below.
