Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster. I just downloaded your mod (first mod I've actually got, although many others look worth a go) and I have to say, REALLY impressed .

I'm a researcher in Nordic history at Lund University here in Sweden, mostly focusing on the medieval and Rennaisance periods, but my work often brings me into contact with the area of history you guys have chosen to focus on here. Your attention to detail is absolutely stunning, and you've obviously done your homework. I think you've succeeded in bringing an extremely exciting period of north European history to life in a very accurate way, and for that I commend you.

Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing more of what you can all do in the future

One of your downloaded parts is corrupt. If you remember at which percentage it happened, then it's easy to determine which one is corrupt and needs downloading again:

• part 1 = 0 - 39%
• part 2 = 40 - 78%
• part 3 = 79 - 100%

I have the exact same issue as the person you quoted. Part 1 at 9%. Same file corrupt.

I keep re-downloading with no success. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled MTW2 + Kingdoms. No change.

Driving me crazy. I've waited ages for this.

This is another problem. 99% of users don't have problems with the file, phisically!

Please write it down your OS (Windows XP with service pack 2 or Linux, etc...) and another aspect your game...
- OS name and type?
- Are you admin in your OS?
- Have you Medieval II.?
- Have you Steam version?
- Have you 1.5 or 1.6 patch?
- Have you Kingdoms Kingdoms expansion? ( With Britannia Campaign)
- Does your game run without the mod? (for eg. Britannia Campaign)
- Is your game legal or something cracked?
- Other circumstence on your machine?

Unfortunately I'm having the same problem as has already been reported, namely the installation process is stopping at 9% every time. I re downloaded all three parts from your alternative source, but still no luck.

Never knew there's a 1.6 patch for M2TW, I've only got 1.5 installed. Is it possible to install it ontop of M2TW Kingdoms v1.5 + a few installed mods? What does it change/improve and where can we download it? - Sry for being off-topic, but I'm really curious.

I just ran the installer again: at 9% the installer seemingly freezes (showing event.idx) - this is because a huge file gets installed (music.dat -77MB). Please try to install again and do not interrupt the installation process. As long as you don't receive an error message and the light for your hard drive activity keeps flickering strongly the installation is still continuing.

Could you please try to run the installer without your AV on? Because that is the last reason I could think of. Please disconnect from the net as well (pull the cable, switch off the modem) to avoid anything nasty coming in while the AV is off. I am going to as some guys in the tech forum for other possibilities.

you know that the name friesland is wrong on your map I guess. The name is currently in Northern France/Flanders, it should be just beneath Denmark. The Frisians lived in what's nowadays northwestern Germany and north and west Netherlands (the coastal areas, inland of the Netherlands was Frankish/Saxon)

- disable UAC
- check here
- permissions in AV and Firewall
- free space on hard drive
- when last was a defragmentation done?

Details of error message:
- Is it from the installer?
- What exactly does it say?
- Can you give us a screenshot?
