Spurs or Chelsea can fight for 4th, Arsenal will finish 3rd anyway

The fine thing about it is that every team, LFC, NUFC, CFC, AFC and THFC are more than capable of breaking down completely. This isn't over.

I actually fear for Spurs which is a shame because they've done brilliantly this season.

The Derby was absolutely fantastic! Its a shame I am not back in Liverpool till Friday. Sitting in a mostly empty Newcastle pub with no Evertonian's to annoy just isn't the same.

Try being in a Norwegian pub with no Evertonians in a miles radia!

You know I was in London for the final and the atmosphere in the pub I visited is something I'll never forget.

    Love having Evertonian cousins... =D

10 points to gain on 4th in 10 games, it's not impossible. Not likely either, but you don't sit through Istanbul to give up

Being an Evertonian in Norway is probably the loneliest experience known to mankind.

Come on Fabrice Muamba... not another heart failure, fight like you do on the pitch

Is there anything football can do? Dani Jarque and Marc-Vivien Foe both died like this, both as box-to-box midfielders, is there something medical care at clubs are missing or ignoring?

Jarque was a center back, not a box-to-box midfielder.

Regarding the medical part I would say that the human body is so complex that it is very hard to estimate who's going to get a sudden heart attack. Sure we could screen for indications but I think there would be so many false positives that it would render the process useless and harmful.

Very good to hear that he is in a stable condition.

I hate to be the pessimist, but he will be out for much more than the season. I don't know if he could even continue playing. I'm not a doctor, but he was without oxygen for at least 10 minutes. That is deadly or at least critically dangerous.

He was without oxygen for only a relatively short time. CPR keeps oxygenated blood flowing.

Average of around 30 seconds in your brain goes on pause and brain activity ceases. In 3-5 minutes severe brain damage can occur. Ten minutes in assuming survival, which is rather unlikely to begin with, the person is almost certainly a vegetable. Severe cold can increase the chances of recovery and the length of time recovery and survival are possible.

He can recover but I doubt he's playing another match.

Terrible news about Muamba. It shows that even though we are passionate about the game, things like this bring all into perspective and show it is just a game.
