Depends on what forests. The cloud forests and rain forests are pretty similar, but there are drier forests on the Deccan and Bamboo, which isn't present in S.America.

Hello, I had been thinking of posting here when this preview was released but I never got around to do it. So I will post now, I guess:

Will this faction receive special missions from the emperors such as request for military assistance (effectively making the faction lose units or money in order to represent aid sent to the Mauryan empire), demands for the construction a specific building, or even aid from the empire itself etc?

But in all seriousness, looking forward to playing as this faction alot. Hopefully there'll be some "royal" heavy infantry akin to the Indogreek hoplites (except not, you know, Greek) as that style of infantry looks incredible.

it sounds ok, but if the Taj Mahal does have anything to do with the music then it's way too far from the EB time period.

Yeah I know that. But it is described as ancient music. And it sounds a little bit as others EB Eastern songs. I don't know anything about this Taj Mahal band, I just stumbled upon I found it interresting. So I don't have a clue at wich period they refer by ''ancient''. The Western World surely doesn't have the same ''era'' classification as the Middle East and India, so ancient could mean anything.

Wasn't the Taj Mahal constructed by a Muslim Mughal? And as yuezhi mentioned anyhow... modern or even old Indian music isn't necessarily the same as in EB's time frame. Nice tune though...
