Let me say that as someone who has written fully-researched and footnoted articles -- but on 20th-century ships, not ancient civilizations -- I don't want to imagine the work that went into completing the history of Taksashila and its people. That is stunningly fantastic work. My hat is off to the people who put that together.

Unfortunately we can have only 1 type of soldier on an elephant, we can't have a mix of pikemen and bowmen.

One question though - what language will they speak? Punjabi?

They will speak Sanskrit. We'd love to have a Sanskrit voicemod, although it will depend on whether we can find someone with knowledge on that language and with the will to record around 20 commands and several unit names.

Do you mean because they are standing? That's because they are posed, not because they will fight on foot. Their bodyguard unit decides how the general will fight, not the pictures in our previews.

Seeing that he rules the Yavanas, Greeks, ans his name sounds awfully like Ptolemy, then I guess that that is enough information to make a rational guess.

Yep, it's Ptolemy... This is the name used in indian inscriptions for Ptolomy
