    Default The Theodosian Walls [Model]

    - The Theodosian Walls -

    Information This low poly model of the Theodosian Constantinople Wall is now available for download. I once created it but it has never really found a use. Maybe an experienced modder can do something with it. The model has not been UV mapped yet, I might do that when I get bored sometime. Use is permitted with the proper credits.


    I've added the download below as an attachment.

    I, as a mod leader of Ottoman: For the Love of Sultans mod project, we want to try to add this model to our mod. Full credits will be given of course...

    Why didn't you posted in CBUR dev forum also?
    Any way. Its nice TWC to have such help from modders.
    You have the skills to do more extraordinary things. I know it 1st hand!
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    Nice model but probably needs altering if you want ladders to work with it.

    I thought about this problem and i think i have a solution always under the limitation of the wall size that must be the same (both walls must be huge walls for example).
    I have something in mind.
    But the moat either must no be used or must have many bridges and not that short wall.

    Well that's one of the items and it looked like the walls may the same height as the land looked stepped.

    The main issue here is that each siege engine needs room for its animation. Eg is there room for the guys pushing the ram to move it to the side and put it down after breaking the first door (maybe) and is there room for ladder guys to move up to the wall put the ladder down perpendicular to the wall and then for it to swing into position (this I very much doubt)... just the simple things to watch out for... unless someone knows how to create completely new siege animations?
