OMG! Now if only CA removed steam I could actualy use this. Or CA could just give us the tools they use.

I came back to this thread and left thinking "I would be happy to pay £10 for the ability to play advanced mods if that is what it takes to fund your dev time"

Feel free to read and write in my forumpost regarding the economic benefit of modable games.

Some of you probably have heard about the military game Arma II, some may not. Anyway, a guy called Rocket made a mod to this game called DayZ. A Zombie survival game like none other, where just finding food and water to live another day is hard.

The reason that I mention this game and this mod is how beneficial it is for all parts, and I would like to see future Total War games more customizable. DayZ-mod increased the sale of Arma II by 500 % and Arma II is now the most sold game on Steam! I hope the creators of this fantastic series (TW) can learn from this.

Its because those mod tools suck. You cant do a total overhaul with them.
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.

    Hi all.
Sorry for necroposting, but has anyone ever tried to reprocess the NTW's xsd schemas into TWaD_xxx.xml files so far?
I mean, in order to make the S2TW db editor (and hopefully the unit editor tool too) working...
    Thanks.

In case you didn't know, but CA doesn't come here anymore and they stop visit TWC almost 5 years ago.

If you want them to hear what you have to say then goto Reddit and say it there.

They pretty much stopped frequenting all 'regular' forums at that time in favor of 'chat' media like reddit.

Go to discord, lately a lot of CA guys is frequenting a few of very known servers. Especially for modding info and question how to. They have some new kind of policy to actually help modders. You could see it they made a few interviews with modder groups. Not saying they will help with every problem every time but it is much better lately....
