So you guys think mamluks over austria or ottomans? That's what I was thinking but I don't want a mamluk civil war on the second turn(Barry how stable will the mamluks be?)

If I had to choose for you Pericles, I would say Austria. But if only between Mamluks and Ottomans, Mamluks.

Hm... With John II imprisoned by England, who'd be the de facto ruler of France? Right now they'd be in practical anarchy. :hm:

Charles 'the Wise', John's kid. Have fun trying to control the nobility while the kingdom's in a flux, though. To be fair, at least your nobles aren't going to be hostile to you (generally), they'll be trying to murder each other instead
Yeah, the Ottos didn't really have their first period of massive instability & upheaval until Bayezid I died later on and Austria didn't have any internal problems in this time period.
And that's up to you to decide, Austria can run for HRE and thus potentially control Greater Germany while the Ottos have a lot of room & opportunities for expansion, both east and west.
Also, writing up your vassals now in addition to the list of unique units.
Hey Barry, King David II of Scotland married Joan of the Tower (younger daughter of Edward II of England and Isabella of France) in 1328 but she died in 1362 without any children. Should I put that with King David II?

Yeah, if she's still kicking by 1360 then put her up.Hey Barry, King David II of Scotland married Joan of the Tower (younger daughter of Edward II of England and Isabella of France) in 1328 but she died in 1362 without any children. Should I put that with King David II?
Also, English vassals up. If you can, try to find your kingdom's historical vassals in 1360, it'd save me a lot of work Just run them through me first, I'll do what I can to find their loyalty to you historically.
Poland for me!
Barry...ahem...my units?

Royal relations (yes/no)
Demesne (just the territories they control)
If you find that you have like 50 vassals, feel free to include only the most powerful 6-8.
You're welcome.
Norway's special infantry are from Transylvania?

Barry, what site did you use to find vassals for Britain? I can't seem to find some for France via Wikipedia.
