Any War to Play Campaign Multiplayer?

I'd really love to play the campaign game over an extended period of time; I've got a few friends who would be able to play this locally. Is there any mod/patch/anything that would allow for the campaign to be played over a LAN or any other sort of connection?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Not not that I know of. It would be very hard to create a multiplayer campaign, mostly due to time issues. While one person is spending time on their turn everyone else would wait forever just to move a few guys around. Not a good concept to me. But, if the campaign was completely redone, then it could work, but doing that might take the fun out of the game.
