    So I've made a mod that changes Matchlock range to 200 range. It works great during battles, the matchlocks sometimes do under 100 kills, sometimes above it(but under 200), which is also what I see for Yari and such, so I'm pleased with that.

    However, when I auto-resolve their kills shoot up. In a 2k vs 2.5k fight, 4 of them each killed around 600 units, my entire army barely being scathed.

    So, how exactly can I fine tune auto-resolve for this unit to prevent this, because something is obviously going crazy?

    You can have a look at battle_autoresolver_balances_tables. Also there is a variable, I belive it is in campaign_variables tables, that reduce the casualties for ranged units to half. Might want to adjust that too.

    We already touched this subject in this thread btw. It is usually quicker to search the forums than ask us to repeat it

    Thanks for the reply! I did use search, "auto-resolve" in this sub forum. Try it, you won't get that thread you just linked :p
