They could feasibly have access to a cheaper set of Mercenary units which are drawn from deserters and smalfolk of larger factions.

If possible, I plan to recruit them and use them as my vanguard; let the sellswords kill themselves off before my actual soldiers.

They would be a awesome faction to play, especially as we could spawn characters again if they die! It would be easy to create a region that can not be taken that symbolizes their capital (Isles of Faces for example). For WTW to develop all the epicness of A Song of Ice and Fire needs to be added!

factions can be horde, they dont need settlements.

While we're talking about all epicnesses, why not consider the idea for a Crownlands decision to revive the Faith Militant or not? An event that would occur around 300-301 AL that would offer a large sum of gold to the faction in exchange for allowing the faction to exist and start taking territories.
