One question: Will the Rainbow Guard be generals or bodyguards to Renly?

Also, can we see a Kingsguard preview eventually? And will they be generals or bodyguards to Joffrey/Tommen?

only condition: they have to look awesome and cannot be represented by a standard general.

Question about the Rainbow Guard pic, was Parmen Crane chubbier in the books or is it just a trick of editing, i can't remember the description, and up until now, the generals basically had pretty much the same physical constitution.

he wears a surcout over his plate, that makes it look so.

perhaps i shouldve ben more specific

unique generals are those described in detail, esp their armour. most northern lords will have pretty plain plate etc and you wont see beards etc as they wear helmets. these will be generic generals.

Well, telling me which unique generals to make is not a good idea, but I have to be lenient I guess:

I agree with Great Jon Umber and Rickard Karstark, but I also think his sons are needed as the Karstarks wear semi-unique armor.

Great work on Stannis! Makes me really want to play his faction
About the Nortern generals, I believe that in Dance of Dragons, there are several detailed descriptions of Manderly guards and a detailed description of a manderly family member's armor. You could use those descriptions for Wyman of Willis Manderly. Just make sure you make them very fat And I believe Robet Glover's armor is also described in Dance, but i could be wrong.
