    Hi ACMilan88.... mate are you going to fix the unit cards mate?

    gary the file is too big to upload for 7 unit card changes!

    Here is what I did:

    1. unzip the unit cards and place the folder in the UI folder
    2. Open the Sponge_SYW mod using PFM
    3. then "Choose a pack option"
    4. then "add directory"
    5. find the "Units" folder in the data folder then click "ok"
    6. Save

    Thats it the unit icons will appear in game

    Thanks for your kind words mate. Well the idea was to collect all 7 years war mods and make the ultimate SYW mod where all the unit's are from the same period. This is why i don't play DMUC allthough in terms of game play it's a fantastic mod.

    I don't know much about dbediting exept the basics. This is why some unit's that is soposed to be guard units are currently to weak. Will fix that in next release though.

    Hi Toon. Well iv'e never made a ui-card but i will try to make some for the units who are missing one. I know how to add unit cards though, i added wangrins unitcards for the french units.

    If someone is able to help me on that front i would very much appreciate it.

    Thanks will do that and i will add the unit cards to respective units asap. Probably tomorow if i have time. Don't know how UPC works but anny help on that front is appreciated to.


    This version (1.0) was just a quick release to get things going, im already working on the next version wich will feature more changes and new units. Next version would be ready in a few days. The units from Nec Pluribus Imbar will also be added to the french rooster when it's updated so there are more content to come for the french.

    Yes i will add them in the next release. About UPC. Iv'e added your the UPC pack in my datafolder but unit names don't show up.I should also say that i don't use the units from preussen gloria mod, only the textures. Iv'e added new units myself and then applied the textures. I could give someone a list of regimental names as i don't know how to create a localisation file myself.

    Make sure you only have one UPC file in your data folder? it works 100% mate.

    I have small unit sizes for units from this mod. Normally line infatry has 300 men, here is 160. Same thing with grenadiers - they have 250 men, new units from this mod has 160. Horse battalions are half too small.

    Also their formations are not campatible with the others. They are forming almost "loose formation".
    I needs more compatibility(AUM 3.2 DMUC 6.9)

    well you will need to adjust the unit sizes etc..yourself using Pack File Manager if you want DMUC sizes

    This looks great, is their a way of using this through scripts rather than mod manager.

    Also, I have DMUC installed along with AUM extra units, its almost unit overload at this point. So would you suggest running this with vannila to avoid unit conlfict,

    You need to change the "Rank Spacing" and "File Spacing" as per DMUC settings

    You need to adjust settings in the mod so that it is compatible with DMUC as the mod is just Vanilla compatible at present.

    Damn, I changed some things to make this units more compatible, but I think there are still some differences about which I don't even know. I think one person who knows what is changed in DMUC/AUM 3.2 should take a look at this.
    My proposition is to make sponge line infantry, and sponge grenadiers a little stronger, but more expensive. Not elite, but with for example 5 points better accuracy and +2 to attack and defense(to avoid having 3-4 same types of line infantry with different appearance).
    Also I still have no icons for 2 french line infantry units from sponge(I added that folder), also one unit of extra british line infantry has no name.

    I have just checked again in game and all unit icons and names are showing

    I tried this mod in DMUC 6.9 last night by adding the user script, it seemd to work fine in custom battles and the units were present in my campaign. If I'm not mistaken, they actually replaced the generic line infantry of most factions. Also have the AUM mod installed so there are so many units now, its almost too much.

    I noticed though that the SYW units seemed to come out in medium detail while my other units are in ultra detail (Units detail is set to ulra).

    Anyway, love the units,
