Come in from the torrents of shifting time,
    take comfort beside roaring fire.
Pray, that you should listen to a tale of mine,
if only your heart should desire.
There in us all dwells shadow and light,
for our ancestors knew of such power.
Let me revel thee with tales of treachery and might,
pour us whiskey 'till late is the hour...

I bid thee, fair traveller, a cordial and a humble welcome

Looking forward to more of your work. I am curious if you would like to contribute to topics from the Antiquity. There are a lot of awesome topics I can think of (which are NOT hannibal, cleopatra or roman related). We have way to little fan fiction about the successor wars or italian rebellions or other topics that are not "epic" enough to be done by big companies

It's certainly something I'd be interested in developing. I'd have to do some research, but that's fine as I love the process of discovery and immersion that provides for me.

Well our modification plays around 217 BC and onwards. There are a lot of awesome stories to be told.

    - Italy: Hannibal marches into Italy - in June 217 BC the battle of lake trasime takes place, Gnaius Nepos vs Hannibal
    - Spain: Scipio sends a fleet of reinforcements into Spain, a naval battle on the ebro river evolve, Scipio vs Hasdrubal
    - Greece: Philipp V fights for the hegemony over Greece, Macedon, Thracia and Illyria. Many plots and intrigues are set up
    - The East: Seleucids and Ptolemaics are fighting for the legacy of Alexander, in June 217 BC they meet in Raphia. Antiochus III vs Ptolemaius IV

We have so many interesting personalities, so many decisive events and more. Here is another link for a quick overview: 217 BC Wikipedia

Take a look, do some research.

No matter where you can help, if it is design, ui editing or writing. We will very much appreciate the contribution to Authentic Ancient World. We do want an immersive game and a great artist community.

To inform you we just released v0.05 and it will be soon on the front page of TWC. v0.10 will focus on the Romans and v0.15 on the Carthaginians. Afterwards we are going into the east, Greece, Asia Minor and further. So any fan fiction displaying those events and following our release schedule would be great. Since we focus a lot on alexander themes, tunes, topics it might be interesting to display all those interesting personalities in their quest or journey aiming to become that one true successor of Alexanders Legacy. If you know what I mean.

    Cheers!
