Units disappearing!!

Hi all,

I am very pissed off at the moment. I am doing a legendary campaign as Shimazu and I'm expanding into Mori territory. Its crucial that I expand now before Ikko Ikki gets too strong in the East. So I send my main really expensive stack to Mori and I go around capturing its (rather large) territories - Mori is rather weak at this point. However, after a few turns I realise that I'm randomly losing units - 1 unit per turn! For example, I lost a whole Yari Cav in 1 turn and it was near full strength! I've lost about 1/3 of my army because of this - its ruining my campaign.

Is this a bug? or meant to happen? I had a theory that it might be my men deserting me - but there is no indication anywhere why they might be.

Please enlighten me.

Are you using mods?
I remember that there was a bug with some of the mods for Empire (Darthmod or TAR), where units were replaced by others during first few turns. Something similiar might be happening here.

Are you going bankrupt? always heard units get disbanded if you cant afford them anymore

Sry I'm a noob, I was bankrupt when I invaded hence the disbanding units. Problem solved. Thnx guys. Reps all round.
