So, I recently went and resized every unit in the game and set the pref-script unit multiplier to be at 0.21, so 21%.
But in-game, some units dont reflect how the math should have worked.
Here's me being a derp, since I was testing it on an already active campaign.

For example, Yari Ashigaru were set to have 50 soldiers in their units, and at 21%, that should be 10.5. Usually, the game rounds up, but in-game, there were still 10 soldiers in the campaign. That was fine, but the Onna Bushi, who were set to have 70 soldiers, only had 4 in-game. It was the same with the Yari Samurai. At 21%, there should be 14.7 (hopefully 15, if the game rounds up).
So, earlier today, I set the unit multiplier at 1.00 so that the units would be at 100%. I went back and re-sized everyone to be at a small number. For the Onna Bushi and Yari Samurai, I gave them exactly 8 soldiers. Once in-game, the campaign said there were 0 soldiers in the unit. From my tests with having only single-soldiers units, this means that the battle map will only show 1 soldier. That doesn't make any sense, though. There should have been 8.
I'm thinking there must be another variable that controls unit multipliers besides the one in the pref-script, but that seems unlikely. Or, another unlikely idea is that the game takes off 10 soldiers from the stronger units. That would explain why there were only 4 instead of 14 and 0 instead of 8. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?
And here's the bigger problem now that I've been testing it on new campaigns.

Some units wont resize.
Yari Samurai and Katana Ashigaru will go to 70 units if I set it, but if I try to set Yari Ashigaru to 70 units, they still register as having 200. So, once the 21% unit multiplier is accounted for, Yari Samura and Katana Ashigaru will come up as having 14 guys, but Yari Ashigaru will have 42.
On top of that, the units that I've made to have 1 soldier will now disband regardless of how big their unit size is balanced with what the unit multiplier is. That didn't happen in already active campaign games.
I have tried the mod by BullGod in post #5 here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=454239
But, I think there isn't a percentage that deals with disbanding units. I think it's about how MANY guys are left. When I set the unit size of Katana Samurai to be 2 soldiers and then set the unit multiplier at .50 (50%), the 1 soldier in the game still gets disbanded afterwards.
I'm completely lost with this.
