I honestly didn't get what you were trying to do. Maybe it was the wrong video? This one was with overlaying the map_water_surface over map_regions, abandoning it, then somehow taking a terrain texture and applying it to map_groung_types - and then the video ended.

The easiest way for me is to apply texture to the resized map_heights graphic (or map_ground_types if it is properly synchronized) if I didn't have a satelite pic from which I made the map in the first place. Is that what you were trying to show?

you should have a comment bar right below or a bigger screen, as someone who does not have much experience with photoshop i have no idea what is going on in there.

Very nice

But please, add some kind of commentary, either using microphone or comment bars on your youtube tutorial. For someone who is relatively new to photoshop this could be very hard to understand.
