Best way to beat the game on very hard

Hi I need advice on playing on shogun 2 on very hard difficulty as I find it impossible to do I have played as hojo,chosoakbe,useigi and date clan everyone declares war so early I can't build a decent army and economy.

Also I'm trying to unlock steam achievements

Use diplomacy(Hojo example)-ally with imagawa and get them to break with takeda or just ally http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/...DF88A8943555E/ defeat the ogigayatsu army in sagami then move your units into musashi and they'll accept this http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/...73B73FB078C9A/ or move your units next to the ogigayatsu army in sagami and recruit one ashigaru, the ogigayatsu army will move back into musashi, then move your units into musashi and they'll accept this http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/59...707A70D5274CE/ At that point you could help ogigayatsu against satomi or move thru their territory to attack satomi or just sit and build up.

I have some Legendary campaigns in my signature they are fairly easy to replicate. Or at least i try to make them easy to replicate. And you can get the Legendary achievment.

Have you played as the date clan on very hard before coz I'm trying them now and struggling I think I have seen your videos before as useigi I got fed up with playing as them takeda kept declaring war my allies or got crushed.
