    Download Link and Instructions
    Step 1. Download here.

Step 2. Open the compressed file.

Step 3. Extract the UPC loc and Roma_Rising mod and put it in Program Files (or Program Files x86 if you have 7 or Vista)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Napoleon Total War\data.

Step 4. Extract the startpos and put in into your campaigns/mp_eur_napoleon in your data folder.

    Step 5. Activate the mod with user.script (or mod manager) which is located under {YOUR USER HERE}/AppData/Roaming/The Creative Assembly/napoleon/scripts. If it isn't there, just make one yourself with a notepad file. Once that is done, add in the line: mod "roma_rising_mod.pack";

    Step 6. Enjoy.

Step 7. When you're done playing, deactivate the mod and replace the startpos with the original backup I posted below.

    Known Issues
-UI cards are of course off. Don't complain about this to me unless you can fix it yourself.
-Music plans to be added soon, if I can get the files to work.
-Map is visible when campaign begins. Hitting end turn turns on Fog of War. Also, French Campaign intro.
-When you start the campaign, you start out with a few Papal units in Rome.
-Diplomacy is a bit off, like Naples actually liking you. But you're Rome, just crush them!

    Special Thanks
    -Marshal Beale - Textures
    -Okmin - Flags
-SacreBleu - Made a few UI cards. I wasn't able to add them in, but thanks anyway.
    -MorganH - The name.
    -Gunny - Better banner.
-Anybody I somehow missed - For doing whatever I forgot about but was important for the mod

Wow, this is very nice, but isn't there another mod in development doing pretty much the same thing?

Forgot a download link, shameful display by me!

I of course can't model, so I can't put in real ancient Romans. Otherwise I would. This mod doesn't end to make Rome 2 Total War. Besides, I thought an ETW guy was doing that? He stopped?

Where do I find the campaign in the main menu, I followed all the steps yet there is no option to play the mod.

It's under Campaigns of the Coalition. The Empire of Rome should be the only faction you can play.

Are you sure the mod was activated if it isn't there?

Edit: For those not interested in playing the mod anymore, a backup startpos was added to the OP.

a few tips, realistically most armies of the period did not include such a variety of headgear for the infantry due to supply problems. take the Prussians, they used a single shako for all their infantry and a lot of their cavalry.
to be more historically correct with the uniform style i would make all or most of the units have the dragoon style helmet but with different coloured clothes.
    Legionnaires-dragoon style helmet same uniform
formido legionnaires - dragoon style helmet, reversed uniform colours (cream main, deep red middle bit, dunno what its proper name is)
light infantry - dragoon helmet, green overalls. similar to french chasseurs
marksmen - dragoon helmet, green overalls. similar to french voltgiers
praetorian - tone down the purple to a more subdued shade, they look a bit bright
    general, add dragoon helmet
overall a good mod and a great idea

Well there was no real Roman nation at the time, either. I tried to make the units look reasonably different from each other for variety purposes. I didn't want them to all look uniform. Also, the Empire is very new, so it's assumed that supply problems possibly led to the usage of such variety in the army in the first place, or simply an over-creative Emperor. Though you are right about most nations having fairly standardized armies.

And the Occulis are supposed to be sort of like spies and assassins, so they look civillian on purpose.

I understood there was a problem like this before, but I thought I had fixed it. When I get back from vacation I will take a look.
