If you have problems with MP
be sure to Disable the Launcher version of the mod (if you also have it)
and clear any other mods that may interfere.

1st step

In the first menu of the DMS launcher press the button "DARTHMOD NORMAL SIZE (MP SETTING)".
All players must use this same setting to be compatible with each other.

2nd step
Join Multiplayer Matches with online compatible players

Use this thread to announce availability or become a member of DarthMod: Shogun II Multiplayer Group
to organise there your matches.

Reverting to Vanilla Multiplayer:
By version 3.45 of the mod the procedure is automated perfectly.
You simply press the button DISABLE TO PLAY VANILLA and start the game.
***Warning 1***
This way your Preferences will be deleted (to make the game fully Vanilla) so you have to re-set them in the graphics sections of the game.
***Warning 2***
To re-enable the mod just press DARTHMOD DEFAULT 1,5X or DARTHMOD DEFAULT NORMAL SIZE.

Darth, would you like me to design a scoring system in Java? If so, send a PM with the required features. I'm not a very good programmer (I offer my services mainly to improve my skills) but I'm certain I can pull off something simple. If you want an integrated web-based script that's out of my abilities but if a simple system to calculate leaderboards will do, I'll happily script it.

It would be very good to have this Rome101. But lets wait to see how this can be designed because we have no feedback/games organised yet. In fact I would like someone to organise the Multi Player games because I have not much time. This person must have time to play Multiplayer quite often. I will "envy" him for this and put him in charge of this thread.

I am always willing to help with everything on forums or on Steam, but I don't have time to play multiplayer a lot (I don't have time to play singleplayer either, it's not a matter of choice it's just that this final exams are raining all over). Guys you are going the long way around in organizing MP matches, their is a much faster and easier way. just install a vpn program called hamachi create a netowrk and paste the netowrk name and passowrd on the forums anyone who wants to play mp will download hamahc ijoin then ewtork and there you go ALL mp players in one netowkr with easy chatting for orgnaaizng battles. just go to lan and play with your freind, it has less lag then online. its like a private netowrk just for MP.
