    For some reason, it appears that the AOR units are not working correctly for me. Playing as the Hattori, I have destroyed the initial province of the TsuTsui (their only province, the faction is now wiped out) -- the road indicates that I should be able to recruit a specialist Yabusame cavalry from this province, but I do not get the option to recruit them. I have even tried upgrading the roads and making sure to have an archery range. I don't have horses, but I should still have a greyed out icon for them, right? Just like the icon for the regular Yabusame cavalry?

    What am I missing in order to make these work?

    I will look into it. It may takea aturn after a faction is wiped out before the unit shows up because it is enabled through the campaign script.

    Thanks for looking into it!

    I've played that game further and also destroyed the Kitabatake (the blue faction that is directly southeast of Hattori starting position), and have also not been able to recruit their AOR unit. It's been more than one turn with each faction destroyed. Nothing I do seems to bring the units into my recruitment list. I've tried building what I would determine the necessary buildings to be, as well as upgrading the roads, but no luck so far. The only mods I've got installed is TROM, with the provided TROM ambush mod and faction colors mod. The only other mod I've got is one that removes the projectile trails.

    i am using the faction colors + no projectile trails too without problems...

    hm. once, there was the same issue with oda (it was fixed by yarkis very fast) - maybe there is the same issue with hattori?

    I uploaded a fixed version 1.51. You need to start a new campaign though to get the AOR units work properly.

    I'm sorry, i keep having repeated CTDs when launching TROM. Game is updated except the Samurai campaign: i'm out of options.

    I get three gamecrash messages and a Visual C++ runtime error R6025 "Pure virtual function call". Googled that and reinstalled everything after cleaning nothing changed.

    Suggestions ?

    If it's C++, you can check the REDIST folder within S2 folder and install those again, should work

    after a lot of testing and browsing the files via pfm, i found 2 issues:

    - tae-yari ashigaru can be recruited from the castle building stages 2, 4 and 5 - but not from castle stage 3. but there is an entry for the yari dojo stage 2 (naginata dojo), but only for stage 2. all clan-specific tae-yari ashigaru are recruitable in castle buildings stage 2,3,4,5 with no entry on the naginata dojo.

    - the oda tae-yari ashigaru doesnt show up in the game.




    i have already fixed both issues (recruitable from castle 2,3,4,5 and oda tae-yari ashigaru are recruitable) and made a .7z file - but i am stuck in the upload-window. :/

    now it works!

    just drop this file into your data folder, it should overwrite the original file.


    edit: after extracting the .pack file, of course. and sry for double post.


    edit2: i am using this version of the .pack file - that means the great guard is using the "trident-pike" as shown on the unit icon...otherwise this file is like the original (exept for the two fixes).

    My game is experiencing CTD's quite often, then the computer says "this program has closed" or something like that. The CTD's seem random, although I never had them in battles, only on the campaign map when I click on something or during the turn movement. And last time when I played a battle (in campaign) the units loaded without banner symbols, just the banner colour without the actual clan symbol. The units, both mine and the opponent's were also invisible, until the armies started moving. Then units 'appeared' but they were like all grey and white, with no details at all. I think you can see what I mean. Maybe I need to add that I'm playing as the Tokugawa clan? I also want to mention that the game even crashed when I put it on pause on the campaign map and went to the shop. Came back after twenty minutes and the game had crashed.

    Maybe I have to add that I've had some Shogun II problems before I installed the mod. It crashed before the intro movie, or I didn't have any sound in the main menu nor in the game. There was only sound in the intro movie. Also, the starting screen with the game title and copy rights and all was just a black screen. It's still a black screen, but the rest of the problems have been solved a time ago, before I installed the mod.

    There's nothing wrong with my drivers, all are updated .

    Thanks Castel, that solved the C++ error

    Then i tried inserting a line in the script file and the game loaded: then launching a new campaign, S2 crashed during loading. Now i don't know except maybe it could be a Dx10 thing ?

    I dont think TROM 3 needs script file edited to work, if you crashed during loading screen, here's the solution:

    Just wondering if general's unit is supposed to gallop slower than the speed at which yari ashigaru run?

    Hi,

    I found this (new?) bug: at the Mori home castle missing the wall at two place, and a "main" flag is at one of them (not at the main building)

    Hello, I am playing the Hattori and for some reason my Market slot option went missing and instead was replaced with a Ninja or Sake Den. My issue is I already have the ninja/sake den already built in my Capital province. I would now have two of them and no option to build a market. Is this a new feature? Just to clarify - I only have one province, the capital - IGA.

    You should not be able to build two of them in one province. Did you continue from an old savegame?

    No,it was a new game. I just downloaded your version2. I will start over and see if I get the same error.
