EB for BI crashes?

I've essentially used EB for BI for a long long time, and I notice very consistent crashes. Almost always, the game will crash after a battle if I've fought 2-3 battles without exiting the game and re-opening it. As well, later in the game, it will crash more often during the end turn shifts.


Is this a symptom of EB for BI, since this doesn't seem to be a major complaint in the EB threads? Because it's a pretty huge and pretty severe issue. If it weren't for this, I probably wouldn't ever play any other RTW mod again.

I had the same problem in the past, yet I got it solved somehow (I don't remember what I changed). The main cause had seemed to be that I have the Gold Edition BI.

I know that the rare crashes I experience now are when Windows tries to create more memory though.
