    A little off topic but could you do a battle editor for 1.44

    I tryed enabling the editor via .CFG but it CTD when you try to pick coordinates then load. It also shows the european map instead of the COW one.

    It won't even load other generic maps even if you setup a battle folder in data>worldmaps and put generic maps in there as a starting point.

    I searched the forum for a battle editor for 1.44 and i saw an old thread by you with a link but the link doesn't work anymore.

    If it's not too involved a quick tutorial on how to do it would also be appreciated.

    I've tried to figure it out myself but i really can't find much info on how to do it.

    Anyway thanks in advance your help is always very appreciated HP.

    Cheers

    I will take a look at the battle editor when I get the chance. Right now I am very busy with various large projects.

    Sorry

    Default Battle Editor map

    Here is the map for the battle editor, extract into data\menu. It's made from map_heights, so no fancy artwork.

    The entry for the battle editor in the CFG file (opens with Notepad) goes into the [features] section:

    [features]
    editor = true

    The correct map should stabilize the editor.

    It creates custom battle maps based on the co-ordinates of the strategic map. It enables you to modify the default landscape found on those co-ordinates and add armies and script. The battle of Agincourt of the tutorial is such a custom map.

    Another great addition Gigantus, I'm happy to see you giving some love for the CoW lately.
