Include an introductory background story.
I think it would be useful to all of us newcomers to the Warhammer universe to have some sort of background introduction to the storyline. I suggest that the download of the mod should include some sort of PDF/TXT file that contains some underlying story to explain what we are getting into. In my view I think this would be a great way to get "fresh" players introduced to the Warhammer lore, and would accompany the mod nicely and give it an even more complete feel. (As a side-note: The information included in the unit/building description is very nice, and combining some of that with a bit of extra background would be marvelous.)
