    That's a log from pre-5.0 AI, I suggest installing new one, it's far more stable.

    I have been playing badAI mod with Stainless Steel for a while and it goes very well. Yet When it comes to Third Age, every time I start the game, I get the prompt: Can not find file G5BAISwitcher.vbs
    Is there any solution for it?
    I did have read the installation section where G5BAISwitcher.vbs is mentioned; however, I have difficulty comprehending what you mean. (You mentioned modifying Third Age.bat, but to what?)
    Here is all I have in the bat file:

    cd ..\..
    start kingdoms.exe @mods\Third_Age_3\TATW.cfg
    cd mods\Third_Age\
    wscript G5BAISwitcher.vbs

    Could you suggest what I should to make it run smooth?

    I had a G5.6 related crash at the start of a large reinforcement battle in Spain. The crash was unavoidable. I was eventually able to solve the problem by running SS6.4 launcher with Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode. Have tested the battle multiple times and the issue is now fixed. My OS is Windows 7 64bit.

    Hi, I already posted in the "Before posting: How to report..." thread, but then I noticed that people are posting their issues here. So apologies if I'm doing wrong posting a longer description here...

    I've had the same problem as Dangrath I think, namely that the ReallyBad setup app crashes when I click ok after selecting my mod and then the AI mod in the script window.
    I'm in W7 x64, with admin rights, UAC turned fully off, and full ownership of my M2TW folder... the only other thing I can think of is that Comodo Defense+ and/or Avira are interfering, but they always pop up a notification window when they prevent over-writing or whatever, so I don't know. I tried compatibility mode too with no luck.

    I'm about to try again with a clean Medieval2/Kingdoms installation, but I'm reluctant to try your setup again as, A: I don't see a clean install making any difference, as the previous install only had mod-foldered stuff added to it (except for For King or Country which refuses to run from a sub-directory and isn't for Kingdoms anyway...), and B: As I understand some of your previous posts, trying the ReallyBad setup app several times on a mod can create its own problems.

    So, I'm happy to do it manually - as I understand it, copying the contents of the relevant ReallyBad folder into the relevant mod folder and then adding the relevant ReallyBad script txt to the mod's campaign script.

    I just have these questions ... yesterday I tried this with british_isles and then played a small custom battle with three Scottish pike units vs a couple of English heavy cavalry. What happened was that the cavalry just charged head-first into the pikes even though there was plenty of room for a flanking manouver... does this sound right? I was expecting something a bit more subtle, if ReallyBad was working properly. I also played out a small campaign siege in which the defenders sallied out and attacked my guys with their battering ram, which seemed ok but I forget if that ever happened in the vanilla game.

    Secondly, how would I manually install the hardcore bit?

    Lastly I'm a tad confused about the "show me" and scripts bit ... how do I make sure that my games are running with ReallyBad enabled?

    Thanks very much and apologies for waffling on... I'd love to get this working properly and actually have a challenging AI to battle against.

    Hello im getting a CTD on every battle where the AI has reinforcements from its own faction. Im playing TATW 3.2 with slight modifications in unit stats, building costs, arrow speed and descr_strat populations.

    These kind of crashes happened b4 any modification anyway.

    when i start a battle and press on ''start deployment'' it crashes to de desktop and says: ''medieval 2: total war encountered an unspecified error and will now exit'' .please help

    v5.7 is out, I didn't think it'd be ever needed in this shape, but typos happen.

    Changes eliminate reinforcements CTD issue.

    Hi how do you do to integrate the mod to the britannia campaign, because there is a ctd with the launcher (I have kingdoms on steam)?

    First try to run the launcher "as admin" (right-click on the icon), it should help. This CTD is usually caused by that or some game files being read-only, although the launcher does clean read permissions on campaign script.

    If this doesn't help then:

    1. Find mods\g5\files\ReallyBadAI_British_Isles\ folder (the mod part could be different for you - it's where you installed RBAI).
    2. Copy preferences folder to BI main dir.
    3. Copy scripts and text folders to mods data dir.
    4. Copy-paste contents of ReallyBadAI_Scripts_v5.txt to campaign_script.txt (found in data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign).
    5. Copy the rest of files to data directory.

    Dear Germanicus, this is a tolkein of my satisfaction and not only my! Bravo! Your AI is the best battle AI in Medieval II, I tested (competiditor's) XBAI but it's not sufficient. Your battle AI is the only real challange for me in Medieval II.

    Bravo bravo bravo bravo and once again it's greatly brilliant!
