How can i remove landbridges??? in the just europe campaign map???

when i play as england there is a landbridge (i think theyre called) between dover and calais, it realy annoys me because it takes away the historical use of england controlling caen, how can i remove it ??

You need to edit the 'mods\conquest\data\world\maps\[campaign]\map_features.tga'. [campaign] refers to the 970, 1080, 1200, 1300, 1400, and 1500 folders.

ok so i opened the map_features file with infrnview and placed a black box exactly the same colour as the background over the landbride, but it is still theyre and useable ??

After removing the land bridge you have to delete the map.rwm in the folder you've edited and in the 'mods\conquest\data\world\maps\base'. The recopy all the files using the Eras menu. When you start the mod M2TW will remake the map.rwm and the land bridge will be gone.

ok thx, is theyre amy way i can help out with this mod? i have experience with modding europa universalis 3 and im looking to learn more about modding?

There's nothing at the moment I need help with. You could always try making your own mod to get some more experience. Though I'd recommend learning how to mod the newer games such as ETW, NTW, or S2TW as they really need more mods.
