I actually intend to send in a contribution of my own, though I haven't had the opportunity to visit my cousin with the studio yet.

Hmm, I wonder if there are any voice acting schools locally which would give me a free lesson I'm rubbish at accents. I don't think Audacity can let me cheat with those.

Right.. Germanic.. could try my hand at it, being Dutch and all.. though I've been told that my accent is rather...well.. gone ^^ However, with the fact that my voice is quite low, more so through a mic, it might just work out.

Some of you might recognize me, some might not, but rest assured that I was a fan of this game ever since I first played it in 2007.

Due to the forum moving several times my old account was lost, but I'm back, because I care for this mod a lot.

I have taken up voice acting as kind of an on and off hobby, and I see an opportunity to contribute to this mod. I will try and get something up by tuesday.

Apologies for the delay. We all seem to be rather busy this month!

I've listened to your voice files and they are well spoken, clear and recorded well. They are some of the best I've heard in terms of what we are looking for. Would you be able to record them again and make the German accent a little less pronounced, leaning more toward Scandinavian if possible (or English if that's hard)?

I know these forums for a long time and I know this game for a long time. I've learned to be patient


And surely I can redo them. I have a free day on tuesday, so at the latest they are done by then.
However ...

I don't know anything about scandinavian accents. So I'm not conscious about doing those. I'll probably do it in plain english.

Bare in mind that I have a weird english accent because I learnt it from british and american speakers.


I did the german accent because that was easiest for me and you stated that you wanted the norhtmen "in a scandinavian/germanic accent". And since I am german, that accent comes easiest.

Heck, I'll probably just try both ways and upload my shot at scandinavian as well as english.

Also, if there is more voice work to do, feel free to tell me. I really wanna help out this game
