Well, if you've managed to get this far, congratulations, you're a trooper. What, with the crapload of error 500's and 403's I've got just to be able to make this post, I don't expect a lot of people will be reading this. But if you manage somehow, this is just an update to let you all know I haven't given up on this. I was going to make an April fool's joke about abandoning it, but that risked people actually believing me, and I didn't want that.

In fact, I've recently started working on it again. Those final battles will come. I also began to edit each and every episode to fit the new forum format (seeing as basically all my youtube links broke, and now each post has a 100 pic limit) - can you believe some of my episodes had 138+ pics? Me neither... crazy. But... that got cut short with the forum basically not working. Like at all. So I'm going to play those battles and write ahead, and hopefully when the forum settles down (or kicks the bucket) I'll start posting again.

Till then... may the Gods forgive whoever is responsible for this mess.

Yeah, we get it > big site = troubled transition. It's been 2 months you know... and there are other, high usage forums that have made the same transition much more smoothly. Regardless, who gives a damn? Let people whine.

In any case, fingers crossed, it seems to be working now. Hopefully it will last.

I am still lucky if I can log onto this site. Daily I am getting errors and unable to see the forum. Several refreshs will eventually load the site - but you know what, I can't be arsed now half the time. If this is an upgrade, it must be the worst one I have ever visited. I have put my own AAR on hold as a reuslt. I hope this settles down soon and becomes a workable forum.

You know, I've actually been wanting to so something like this for ages. Not for the forum, I'm now managing to edit posts normally (Battle of Nsibis anyone?) ... but more for posterity. I would love to have something, like a pdf file or a site or a tool... that would allow me to compile all the posts, pictures and even music/videos into one format, or into one... thing, and be able to access it whenever I wanted. Word is the easiest thing I can think of (minus the video and music) but whatever I end up doing the result would be huge in the end. I've just realised in a month's time it will be the 2nd year anniversary of JTSOR and I can't imagine not preserving so much time and effort for posterity. I want to be able to look at this when I'm 50 and think "wow, I wasted so much time back then..." lol... yes, I'm that vain.
