Default Rise of Brettonia - A sub-mod from the "СiЧъ Total WarS" forums

This is a mod for CoW 1.31 (and it is in Russian) that adds the faction of Brettonia to Call of Warhammer created by Red Falcon from the "СiЧъ Total WarS" forums

I took the liberty of downloading and rehosting the sub-mod for everybody on the TWC to enjoy.

    LINK: Rise of Brettonia

Again, this sub-mod is currently for CoW 1.31. I am planning on converting it to 1.44 after my testing is done.

The original post can be found here

I found also this animation submod on the same page pilgrim, don't know if it's really new: download
I don't know also for which version of COW it works
    http://ifolder.ru/21201097

changes of this submod: (google translate)

This mod is a test for the evaluation of new animations (movements of fighters in combat).

The request to download the player evaluate the new animation and give constructive feedback (good and what needs to be improved).

Some of the animation is already in vogue, and some have not yet entered. So I write about everything to make animations so players were able to assess them.

    Changes.

Assassins - Almost completely redone animation, new beats. Parry, a fatality. Movement fighters accelerated due to this combat effectiveness of the above.

Pikemen of light and dark elves - New strikes the shield, all the basic strokes are changed, converted fatalities, animation battle accelerated, at the expense of combat effectiveness of the above.

Zombie - Completely reworked animations aim to make the meat.

Blood Dragons - they temporarily put animation samurai (they have not yet done so). New attacks. Parry, a fatality. Movement fighters accelerated due to this combat effectiveness of the above.

Warriors of Chaos - New strikes the shield, all the basic strokes are changed, converted fatalities, animation battle accelerated, at the expense of combat effectiveness of the above.

Im stoked for this to be in 1.44, hopefully we will see it in the campaign with THP's real warhammer mod. The only thing about this is that some of the units are not lore specific to bretonnia. For instance, bretonnia does not have crossbowmen, just archers. Their men-at-arms have halberds not spears.

They have knights errant, knights of the realm, questing knights, and grails knights, all which have specific abilities, and unique looks. Ive seen the amazing job on skinning units in this game and one of the greatest things about bretonnian knights is that they all look different and have vibrant colors and heraldry. The ones in the pictures about all hve blue/orange comparisons on the horses.

Either way Im very excited about this, but if its going to be a CoW faction in the future Id love to see them look/feel/play like real bretonnia.

I have the current bretonnia army book from GW so I can provide any information needed about this faciton.

As far as I know, that sub-mod is still alive, albeit barely. And I should know, I'm on the team

And as for this mod being in English, that would be a no. It was made on and for the Russian forums, so there would be no real purpose in making it English. That's just like having a Russian mod on the TWC without a Beregond or a Grand Admiral Thrawn.

It is also rumored that CoW 1.5 will add Estalia, Tilea, and Brettonia, so even if you don't want to play this sub-mod, the Chivalrous Brettonians will soon be yours.

Soon? I thought it would take several months until the 1.5 version is released. To be honest I dont know if we will have 1.5 version. I know Feinar is working on some new stuff but I dont know if the ew factions are being worked on or if the new map is finished.

Well, "soon" is a relative term of course. Nobody knows when 1.5 will come out exactly and I have heard even worse rumors, one in particular from a team member (I forgot which one specifically). But I will always keep my hope and hope for version 1.5 of CoW.

If you want to hear the 'bad' rumor, click here
I was told, though I doubt it, that there may not even be a version 1.5 for CoW and 1.4x will be the last version to be released.

This is a nice submod i think i manged to install on my version of COW it seems to work but the units are in the game for norldland and the banner changes but the all the units are the ghost skin aka have no texture or colour well excpet for the bowmen and the 2 cav units alredy in the game for bretonia any ideas i tryed combing mods for 1.3 it was custum installation can someone confirm the textures are ghosts or i just make a bad install. I have a feeling it has something to do with DDS textures and medevil needing a converter to read thoose texture files in game, as the other 2 units have normal coloured textures. Any help or info would be appreciated.
