Hmm...places I want to visit. Lets see.
Petra- A vast ancient trading hub, pretty much built into vast hills of red sandstone.
Istanbul - A treasure trove of ancient stuff, but also a culturally varied and interesting place.
China - Mainly the great wall, but not just the odd bit, but alot of it. One day I'd love to "tour" it as such, and move along it (maybe even biking it- I know some people have). You get to see a helluva lot of China by doing so too. Also, the temples of the Wudang Mountains would be cool.
Hong Kong - Massive, culturally varied place
India - There's masses of archeology in the South- particuarly the large Hindu temple complexes. The red fort in the north is meant to be amazing.
Rome - Pah. I'm a Rome junkie
Trier - I want to see the Black Gate
Tunis- Specifically old Carthage
The Holy Land - Not for any specific religious reason, mainly since I'm Atheist, but there's masses of Archeology there.
Athens - Obvious
Crete - There's loads of Minoan stuff so I hear.
Armenia - No-where specifically, since I dont know any specific places here, but somewhere as rich in history as Armenia has to have stuff to visit
Iran - Varied history. Loads of places to visit. Regardless of what people think, thanks to our intense propaganda, Iran is actually supposed to be a darn nice place to visit. Falak-ol-Aflak Castle looks nice.
Pompeii - Obvious
Iraq - Okay, this is obviously full of pitfalls, but should Iraq ever sort itself out, I would like to see stuff like Hatra or the arch of Ctesiphon (shame the city itself was a battleground in WW1- supposedly it was rather more intact back then).
Cambodia - Specifically Ankor. Plus I have a thing for jungles.
Rhodes - I'd love to visit the medieval section of it.
Bah! I have so many places I want to visit.
Infact, most of them are listed here.

Athens blows, 2 or 3 days maximum are enough to see all there is to see, and this city is noisy, dirty and people are *******s in general. You should head to the islands, particulary Crete, which is simply awesome, and you can see all the minoan ruins there!Originally Posted by Kraut
Extremely beautiful, and not only will you visit the medieval section, but you will live in it. However try not to go during touristic seasons...Rhodes - I'd love to visit the medieval section of it.
Now for me:
Mexico
Peru
New-Zealand
India
Cambogia
Thailand
China
Iceland
Russia
France
Spain
Egypt
Algeria
(those are only my priorities, of course)
In 2 weeks I'm going to travel to New-Zealand, then Thailand, China (Tibet in particular) and China, and maybe Cambogia (I have 6 months, so probably Cambogia as well), so that's a good bunch that will be done soon

I sin for the good of humankind
"I praise, I do not reproach, [nihilism's] arrival. I believe it is one of the greatest crises, a moment of the deepest self-reflection of humanity. Whether man recovers from it, whether he becomes master of this crisis, is a question of his strength."

Truth is not a law, a democracy, a book or a norm not even a constitution. Nor can it be read in the stars.
Actually, if you'll give me a minute, I'll edit in some pictures a friend of mine took when he was there with Habitat for Humanity last summer!Originally Posted by Stalins Ghost

Hong Kong.I was first enchanted because of a video game (deus ex) then i heard that the city from 'Blade Runner'(my favorite movie of ALL time) was based on Hong Kong.It has the most skyscrapers in the world.an entire island of skyscrapers, just massive, neon signs ,the birth of hong kong action films (obviously),cosmoplitan, amaing vibrancy culture people......looking at hong kong is like looking at a mini version of what the rest of the world may be like in 50 years.
There are so many places I would like to visit if I could but I will only list some. There are many reasons, most would be bcause they are part of my many cultures that I have in me or because I find them really interesting and want to learn and see more from those places.
Ireland
Greece (Crete/Rhodes)
Italy (Rome)
China
Egypt
France
Germany
there are so many!
great wall (china)
hawaii
canada
usa

the list goes on forever!

Hell, anywhere. Just getting out of the country would be enough for me. I've never been anywhere outside of Australia.
Mainly:
Iran
Greece
India
all over the Americas, love the history of both continents, and I have relatives in Chile.
Regarding Greece, I'd like to visit museums across the world containing all the best Greek artifacts, so I suppose a trip to London is in order, too.
Every place mentioned here, and Kashmir.
Bloody beautiful.
