Im planning a big tour of a chunk of europe though using the interrail -

Its pretty cheap considering the amount of places you get to go to for a few hundred quid, I'm going to take two zones.

I'll fly into Paris then go up into Belgium and Holland on the west and come back down on the east, then back into France and on to Italy, Greece and Turkey.
Places i especially want to go to on the way are Paris, Normandy, Antwerp, Bruges, Amsterdam, Strasbourg, Marseille, Florence, Venice, ROME, Naples, Athens, Istanbul ( Constantinople, in my head ) After that id go anywhere if i have the money.
Well it seems you sparked an sleeping dream of me. You see both my father and his brother used this inter rail back in the 70's or so. They both found it an amazing experience and I always wanted to do it since I love to travell. I suggested it to a friend of mine and he also thought it was a good idea. Perhaps I'll be seeing you . I'm thinking about taking the whole package however it is quite expensive (385 euro's). First something like going north into Scandanavia then back down through Prague to Athens. Then cross over to Italy and go north to Austria and Switzerland. Then perhaps Paris and home . I can't stop thinking about it...

My evil lair... I want to buy it.

I want to go to Britain and see some castles. I would love to visit Italy, greece and France, but in Britain I know the language and won't get scammed.

Seoul, South Korea, just to see where I was born...

History-wise, the place where Gaugamela took place would be interesting to vist, but travel to that part of the world is not conductive to a safe trip (its in Iraq).

i dont know why but i have always wanted to visit japan, and various countries on the far side of the world, i can only imagine i am drawn to the difference in culture, whereas all the countries i have visited have not provided the culture-shock i would like to experience.

also i would like to visit a scandinavian country, finland most of all.

I care not... Of course I'd have to learn to stumble my way through a conversation in French, something like:

    Me: Bonjour
Frenchie: (odd look at my accent)
Me: Je ne parle pas francais, parlez-vous anglais?
    Frenchie: **** off.

Trust me, they know English, they just don't want to speak it.

And if you're there (by any chance), make sure to buy some baguette sandwiches off the street. They are awesome. I practically lived off of them the first (of many) time I was in Paris

Hm.......It must have some deeper meaning......but alas, my weak and shallow mind is to fragile to comprehend such mysteries.

    Athens.

As soon as I can afford a trip there.

    Tunisia.

Seems like what it was back during the Glorious Punic days, a mix of the near east and the Mediterranean. From a few quick browses online it seems like a modern cosmopolitan Muslim Nation, without a real close affiliation with the trouble of the Mideast. For some reason it reminds me of my trip to Aruba, both in climate and in feel (A small sweet kinda nation).

I'm sure it's not perfect, but I'd love to visit there sometime, as well as any of the major mediteranean islands.

Although seriously, I would like to see a bit more of US when i'm older, maybe work there even. Also Australia and some Scandinavian countries.

Athens, London, Rome, Ireland, Amsterdam, New York, Venice, Bahamas.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.
