The Soliferreum, it is different though, being an all iron javelin. They did use some thing similar called the Falarica but even then there was quite a difference.

Yet astounded... also needs to read everything with the due attention.

And don't know if it's already been questioned: do you guys from EBII team plan to have a Magister Scientiae grade in Ancient History, or something like it? Because the data, the research, the end work of you people, IMHO, should be taken to some Faculty or University... this is over-the-edge pedagogical teaching, what you guys are doing!

I'm seriously thinking on starting a new bachelor in History or Archaeology!!! You really appealed to me with these historical researches!

Thanks a lot, EBII, for bringing me again the joy of history!!!!!!!!!

Will Beserkers be available after further releases? Or is it just a "myth" unit?

Berserkers were used by the vikings.

Maybe you are thinking of the Worgozez or Woithiz Watha, who are used in first Europa Barbarorum?

I sure hope there will be a Berserker/Ulfhednar unit in EB. Maybe the team could elaborate on that?

I adored the Sweboz in the main game! Now I think this one will be just as great! Especially with the Lugiones and Boii to block their path of expansion!
What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?" If by "Liberal" they mean, as they want people to believe, someone who is soft in his policies abroad, who is against local government, and who is unconcerned with the taxpayer's dollar, then the record of this party and its members demonstrate that we are not that kind of "Liberal." But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."

Do not, no jobs in it. Is why we have time to do EB ;-) And very definately not any jobs in a Ba only; to many unemployed Ma s to compete with.

You should study the field that interests you- and has the best prospect of a job. If you cannot combine the two, go for interest; no one can finish a Uni study in something that is not interesting to that person.

    And thanks.

Now with Lugiones hope that the unrestrained expansion of Sweboz becomes limited. When I played with the Ptolemaic Empire, had a big surprise when I walk into the Balkans and send my spies to central Europe.

    Astonishing!!!

Strange I haven't seen this yet. Those textures are of such a quality! So many details, I love the rocks whit the slingers... And these shields are so lovely! But there are two things that I would ask:

First their faces and heads since they look rather like balkan and middle east immigrants to me than germanic. Only gaisofluxo frijot have face shapes that my mind would not directly categorize as strangers if I'd see them in the streets. But even in them I miss what was the pride of most free men: Their blond, most well-tended hair. Excuse the following, I am an insane hair fetishist ... There is not a single brightly blond guy in any of these units. Hell, I don't want nazi-arian Sweboz but if you look at today's people who propably are closest to those ancient Suebi; Danes and Northern Germans; then you will find that most of them actually have dark blond and mediocre blond hair, some are really light blonde and a few have brown or dark brown hair. Black hair almost doesn't exist. In your units most of the guys have black and dark brown hair. I think you could really improve these points.

    Second
is rather a question about their pants. These end a few centimeters above the man's ankle in the screenshots, which I hadn't seen before. I've read that when Tacitus talks about the German clothing he states that men wore long, tightly fitting trousers, like in these reliefs:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

You had them like this in EB1. But this time all of the trousers are a little shorter. Has this been intended? The look does not really bother me, it came to my eye still and I just want to know.

    Greetings!

    Edit @ Thorwald:
Look at the second post on the first page, there's the city. If you mean battle map pictures I'd guess that the EB-team has not yet touched this.

Seems no one wanted to answer your question related to the faces and hair, that may be because it was answered twice before but well the thread is quite big.

Those are just one variant of the soldiers, usually there are 2/5 or 3/5 blonde guys in a unit.

    And to show that:

wow guys wow i have to say i have seen all your work and have to say, wow basicly your work is amazing so no rush(doesn't matter if it takes another few years or whatever) because it keeps getting better every new preview. its obvious the time and effort that has gone into this mod both the research and everything and the 2D artwork and 3D modling top class better than the guys who work for total war (no offence). I think a bog tell tale sign for detail is faces and unit clothing/equipment verity and its perfect true care is going into this mod (like the last kingdom) and im sure it will go down as the best mod for total war ever imo (and im sure it will get you jobs for gaming companies) so good luck and keep going everyone is behind you

    thanks!

You know you guys are the most cruel people in the world. Firstly, you tease us through out the developement of EBII with your incredible previews. Secondly, when I first start up EBII I will probably die of a heart attack, so I wil never be able to play EBII. Cut down on the awesomeness!

I wonder about the Germanic Warcry. Didn't the Germanic peoples have unique Warcry which was eventually copied by the Romans? Believe it was yelling using the echo of your shield and kind of the movement you see here at 3:20 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RD_tv2NGdgk (Yes the movie isn't accurate bit this part was interesting).
