I'm also wondering about another thing. Why are the late Dugunthiz and the Horsemen wearing iron chains?

In Tacitus Germania it says this:

Moreover a custom, practised indeed in other nations of Germany, yet very rarely and confined only to particulars more daring than the rest, prevails amongst the Cattans by universal consent. As soon as they arrive to maturity of years, they let their hair and beards continue to grow, nor till they have slain an enemy do they ever lay aside this form of countenance by vow sacred to valour. While it was a sign of braveness, it was removed after someone prooved themselves by killing an enemy. Seeing it was also mark of dishonour why would the Dugunthiz or the cavalry wear it?

They are wearing iron torcs to signify that they are of a higher status than the levy troops , I don't believe it has anything to do with the iron rings you are talking about.

Oh I see now, confused it. Thought the rings with chains were those torcs. Ok my bad .

The Units are so AWSOME and BEAUTIFUL - how can I ever kill them in battle... I'll just press PAUSE and marvel at them for 30mins....
