Former RTR PR Guy & Beta Tester:
I do not agree, check the close-ups below. Thanks for the preview, great research!
One thing, though,
I have to agree with the complaints about their facial appearance - they look more like huns imo.
Those are North-European faces.
If the faces where more Hun-like they would look more Turkish or even Asiatic.
People need to stop thinking of Germanic people as all being the blonde haired, blue eyed stereotype that is commonly portrayed in films. Then, like now they came in a wide variety of appearances, the huge amount of bog bodies found throughout the region testify to this.
Also people always tend to overstate the effects of population mixing, most genetic studies carried out so far have shown that population genetics in Europe have stayed surprisingly stable since the Neolithic.
very amazing demonstration of modwork !!
To think, this is the kind of stuff CA threw under the bus in the name of little 5-unit DLC packs. CA would do themselves and their TW franchise a world of good if they hired the EB team to put the polish on their games.

A: Because of the engine's limitations when it comes to total conversions, the answer is no.

Scribo ergo sum.
My stories:
Well the term Germanic is really quite misleading anyway and was first used by the Romans (Germani), to refer to a group of peoples separate from the Celts. There were references to warriors being tall and fair haired but this shouldn't be taken as representing a recognisable trait of the Germani anymore than it is today of modern Germans. As you correctly say, modern genetic science is just beginning to piece together what is a very complex history and not at all the simplified classification that previously historians assumed in ascribing cultural differences. However it is known that there was a migration of peoples from Scandinavia into Europe and these people are often attributed the origin of all the people we refer to as Germanics, which I doubt very much as this would assume widespread population displacement as well.. However it would be fair to assume that the Suebi tribe that this preview relates, would have considerably less similarity in appearance to Scandinavians than the tribes bordering the Baltic sea and would have been more closer to the Alpine peoples of central Europe, so your faces are very correct
. It was just that my first impression from looking at the preview, was that they didn't look very Scandinavian looking at all and the middle one even looked almost Middle Eastern. But the picture showing the faces in more detail does indeed show a curious assemblage of shifty looking Bavarians.
