my 1 issue is has any 1 elce found the id reference tht also comes with the activation index, with alowes it to show in the main menu? - ive found 2 references to it in the patch, ime thinking in cross referensing the ids, "ie swapping say choko id for ikki- and seing if by doing so swaps choko apearence or location to ikki- i could do with some 1 elce doing this with me, in a effort to search all thru faction details looking for a reference of "nation activation" code- used in the faction id reference

well ive been going throught the files as i say, i am going to need othe people, or any 1 who has also found this , to post a comment or priv messege me, i have found files that seem to be in relation but u must understand there are over 15- 20 diferent variable combinations, as mutch as id love to sit here and try them all, i canot. i can slowly try them out, i find it horribly odd no previous modders have commented, i need your advice here, ive got all the files and coding infront of me, i just need to know with means what. i know there could be a "god " file, so to speek tht activates or makes it indefnet, but i dont think so
i recon it is a combanation of saying playable, and geting all the scripts to recognise another clans authenticy, possibly a hiden hiden file, ive seen it before on oblivion. a hiden file, hiden within a random file , somewere it shouldent be , possibly as the creators efforts to stop modding, or possibly due to a lazy programmer, ither way i would greatly aphreciate some comments from those who have exsperence. so if any one could be actualy bother to tell me on there progress in finding a way to unlock it, and what they have noticed, please tell me. if youve found a file with shows the other faction on the faction screen in the game, tell me, please- i think this issue is both a visual hiden, and a coded hidden.
and yes i know it somehow ilegal to mod ikko into the game, and i havent, but as far as ime concerned. if i buy the game i own it. if i wana make spiderman run about the battlefeild with a hammer tht looks like a cat i can. and will. modding isnt about being afraid, its about giving enjoyment to people who cant do it, or to show companys how crap they are at scripting and making a good game. i assure you, if they just gave us the tools to make the game modders, this comunity would make the best dam total war ever seen. the issue is companys trying to make money and stay afloat. and i respect that, but that is no exscuse to bring out something with has no sole. itherway i need people to lend a hand, going thru files and trying combinations, i can tell u the areas with need editing and swapping over, its a matter of replacing coding and trial and error, ime sure some 1 mabe darth mabe some 1 elce has alredy gotten alot ahead of me on this , so dude please messege me, i dont care about recognition or anything, i just want the mod out so my self and other can enjoy the game more.
ime sure you guys alredy know this- but if so, have you found any coresponding id code, as a "activator" to the activate the faction - the issue is i recon ca have coded it to be a 3 tier activator, i wonder by sacrifising the references of 1 faction total for another wether we could in essence swap faction for faction as playable atleast, as a start. itherway ive found 2 references to the faction in the file, if any 1 elce is further ahead hit me up, cheers
if you go thru the files u find these references, i wonder that by swaping over say choko it will then rerout the choko faction on the main menu to any sub faction- ime trying this now
has any 1 elce noticed there a 2 tier faction recognition? a tut_ and a just plane- ? i wonder wether the reference is swapable, in essence tricking the game that the id you changed is still the same id, making the sub faction be redirected as the playable faction, without it being labels, as the actual faction

evry playable faction has a rebel faction just below it, ime going to duplicate a row, and se if by adding a rebel oprion to the faction = it being able to be playable-

right well ive go figed the way to activate the faction on the actual menu, must be ither by removing 1 of the other faction, and replacing it. or there is still some code with then brings it up to view on the screen - ive got toyatomi on the custom battles now. and i have a good idear how to make ikki come up aswell,

right there is block in the way of the reference to the nation so - ei the "db names"
the issue is u see this line "names_oda" so i go fig i put in "names_toyotomi" game instantly crashes- so this line here is or must be a reference point, i wonder if changing the name sof the majors effect anything here.
thou a odd thing here, i changed the line "names_oda" to "names_japanese" - the default name- for minors, and the game still worked. so removing tht line proves this bit of coding could be or may be part of, the 2 tier or 3 code lines tht will effect what faction is playable
"right found the nexd line, ive compleatly removed all traces of oda in the so known files tht dictate the actual file being playable, "changed oda lines to minor- on all references" and still oda is playable - obviously there might be another line ime missing, or possible a file in or hiden file in the scripts- in the other dictonary other than data-
possible the only way as i said erler to alow another faction playable is to compleatly remove oda from the option, or just make all references point to oda being a minor, total minor. itherway this needs more people messn around with,
found another 3 files in relation to the faction's. oddly i find as most alredy nkow the dlc nations, iko ect ect the thing is i think i relise now what is required, il try it out tomoro , i dont think i have it sussed, but i can atleast make the game crash by altering 1 line now, so its just ammater of finding this line some were with is the end and be all of alowing a nation to be playable, or removing all traces of 1 nation, and replacing them all with another nations id reference- so itherway, seing as no 1s offerd any advice at all, or help for all i know i could be doing whats alredy been done,
